Emerald Ash Borer
What is the Emerald Ash Borer? The Emerald Ash Borer is an exotic beetle that originated in Asia. During the larva stage, this beetle will feed under the bark of an Ash tree destroying the tissues that move water and nutrients that the tree needs in order to survive.
What does the Emerald Ash Borer look like? This beetle is dark metallic green in color and measures 1/2 inch long and 1/8 inch wide. The Emerald Ash Borer remains dormant during the winter and hatch during the spring months. Typically during May.
Could an Ash Tree in your yard be infected? Yes, Jefferson County has approximately 2.5 million Ash trees. In fact, Ash trees make up 17 percent of the county's tree canopy. Kentucky has 31 counties that are infested and Jefferson County is one of them and all Ash trees are susceptible to the infestation.
How many Ash tree have died due to the Emerald Ash Borer? The Emerald Ash Borer has killed more than 25 million Ash trees in North American since it was discovered in Michigan in 2002.

No, you do not need to be home at the time of service. You can pay before hand or schedule a time later in the day for someone to come back to pickup payment for the job.

How many days will it take to complete my job?
It vaires depending on the job being completed. Most jobs can be completed within one day. However, due to weather, size of job, or when we arrive to complete the job it can take longer.
